Lynn Haverstock, CFSP

CEO / Funeral Director

Lynn having been President of Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services since 1977 and now serves as CEO.  A longtime member of and contributor to the community, Lynn attended Rolling Prairie High School and the Indiana College of Mortuary Science. Lynn's background also includes being Former Chief Deputy Coroner of LaPorte County (Michigan City District) from 1984 to 1992. Lynn is also a licensed funeral director in the state of Arizona and a licensed insurance agent in the State of Indiana. 

Lynn believes in community involvement and in giving back to his community. He is active in many professional and civic organizations, including:

Diane Haverstock

Aftercare & Planning Specialist

Functioning as Secretary/Treasurer and leader of the grief-counseling arm of Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services, Diane provides the financial and supportive stability for the business and its clients. She and husband Lynn Haverstock, as well as the dedicated team of professionals at Ott/Haverstock, provide the personal, professional, and dignified service that have become the trademark for Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services. 
Diane is also active in her community, including her former involvement with the Michigan City Booster Club, Michigan City Area Chamber of Commerce, St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, and former active volunteer for the Open Door Health Center and St. Anthony Memorial Health Center. Serving also as a leader in her community, Diane is former President of her homeowners association, past-President of the LaPorte County Health Department, founding member of the St. Anthony Memorial Breast Health Center.

Diane is married to Lynn Haverstock, has three children, nine grandchildren, and resides in Long Beach.

Patrick W. Reynolds

President/Manager - Funeral Director

Patrick has been with Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services since 1988. He now serves as President.  A graduate of LaPorte High School, with coursework at Purdue University North Central, Patrick obtained his professional education from Worsham College of Mortuary Science. Patrick is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and Indiana Funeral Directors Association. Patrick is also an active member of his community, including the St. Joseph Young Men's Society, Moose Lodge, Sons of the American Legion, Phi Delta Kappa-Gamma Lambda Chapter Fraternity and Past President and Vice-President of the Michigan City Jaycees. 

Patrick is married to Wendy Reynolds and they have a son, Connor and resides in Michigan City.

Danny Cracknell Jr.

Funeral Director

Danny has been a dedicated member of the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel team since the spring of 2014. A 1998 graduate of La Porte High School, he has been an active member of the community since childhood. He earned his professional degree from Worsham College of Mortuary Science and is a licensed funeral director committed to providing the highest standard of care, dignity, and compassion to every family he serves. Danny has further advanced his professional expertise through post-graduate training in embalming and restorative art at Fountain National Academy in Springfield, Missouri. He is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Indiana Funeral Directors Association.

Danny is dedicated to assisting families in planning meaningful and personalized tributes that honor the life and legacy of their loved ones. He is steadfast in respecting each family’s wishes and guiding them with professionalism, empathy, and integrity throughout every stage of the funeral process. From the initial arrangements to the final services, Danny remains committed to supporting families during one of life’s most challenging times while striving to exceed their expectations.

Danny is married to his wife, Monica Cracknell, has four children and two grandchildren and reside in Michigan City.

Alexis Pede

Funeral Director

Lexi has been a valued member of the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel team since September 2020. A graduate of Chesterton High School’s Class of 2017, she initially attended Indiana University Northwest with the goal of pursuing a career in forensic pathology. During her sophomore year, Lexi discovered her calling in funeral service and transferred to Ivy Tech Community College, where she earned an Associate Degree in General Studies.

Following the cancellation of the funeral service program at Ivy Tech, Lexi continued her education at Vincennes University. There, she earned two additional Associate Degrees in Behavioral Science and Funeral Education, graduating with honors in August 2021.

In 2024, Lexi successfully passed the National Board Examination and began her internship as a licensed funeral director and embalmer intern, completing a year-long apprenticeship. In 2025, she passed the Indiana State Board Examination and became a licensed funeral director and embalmer.

Lexi resides in Porter with her boyfriend of ten years and their daughter.

Molly Hailey

Funeral Director

Molly joined the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel team in April 2025 as its newest member. A 2018 graduate of Chesterton High School, she completed her prerequisite coursework at Ivy Tech Community College, where she earned placement on the Dean’s List multiple times.

She continued her education at John A. Gupton College, graduating in May 2024 with an Associate of Applied Science degree. Molly also holds a Cremation Operations Certification and has successfully completed both National Board Examinations.

Currently completing her internship, Molly is focused on gaining hands-on experience while continuing to expand her knowledge within the profession. She values precision, empathy, and professionalism, and is committed to providing respectful and attentive care to every family she serves.

Molly resides in Chesterton, Indiana.
