Rossie O. "Ross" Terry, 82, LaPorte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 1:28 pm in Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Pastor Orliss Terry officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens with full military services conducted by the American Legion Skwiat Post 451 and the V.F.W. 2536. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm, Monday and from 10:00 am until service time Tuesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

He was born September 6, 1934 in Truman, Arkansas, one of thirteen children to the late Earl and Wilma (Huskey) Terry. On August 13, 1954 in Michigan City, IN he married Margaret Poff who survives in LaPorte, IN.

Also surviving are his son, Steve Terry of Michigan City, IN; granddaughter, Sabrina Lynn Terry of Michigan City, IN; and two great-granddaughters, Khloe and Farrah.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Mark Terry; and daughter-in-law, Faith Terry.

He was the owner of TEACO and was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Ross enjoyed reading and was well known for his work ethic, dedication, sense of humor and sharing jokes.
