Livorio Haro, 70, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 8:02 pm in his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 606 S. Woodland Ave., Michigan City, IN with Rev. Jaime Perea officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm -8:00 pm, Friday, and from 8:30 am - 9:30 am Saturday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St. Michigan City, IN.

He was born May 2, 1947 in Zacatercas, Mexico to Jose and Ma. Trinidad (Haro) Haro. On May 21, 1977 in Zacateras, Mexico he married Maria Mota who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are eight children, Leticia (Juan) Segura of Michigan City, IN, Gloria (Jeronimo) Mota of Michigan City, IN, Matilde (Juan) Haro of Michigan City, IN, Leonel (Francisca) Haro of Michigan City, IN, Guillermina (Fernando) Lopez of LaPorte, IN, Liborio Haro of Michigan City, IN, Jose Haro of Michigan City, IN and Julisa Haro of Michigan City, IN; his mother, Ma. Trinidad Haro of Mexico; 13 grandchildren; and 6 brothers and 7 sisters.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jose and his sister.

Livorio had worked at Olive Garden. He enjoyed gardening and listening to music.
