To the family of Susan. I was Christy's teacher at Garfield School in Michigan City. Then later, Susan became my wonderful paraprofessional. She was a wonderful woman, who I will long remember for the smile on her face and her positive attitude. I was so happy to read that she was able to teach art in her last years in LP. We use to see each other at Luhr Park once in awhile, when our classes went there for a special walk and activities designed for those with special needs. Please give Christy a hug for me, too! I am sorry for your family's great loss. She was a great educator with a wealth of knowledge that she freely shared with her coworkers and families of her many students. I was one grateful SLP who knows this first hand. May wonderful memories, over time, replace your pain of loss.

I worked with Susan for two years at Hailmann and really enjoyed her. She worked with "my boy" Dominic and we had some great conversations! Peace to all of you. She will be missed.
