Ramon P. Calderon, 60, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 7:56 pm in Franciscan St. Anthony Health - Michigan City.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 606 S. Woodland Ave., Michigan City, IN. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm -8:00 pm, Tuesday and from 8:30 am - 9:30 am Wednesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.

He was born December 13, 1955 in Colotlan, Jalisco, Mexico to the late Ernesto and Maria (Librada) Calderon. On February 2, 1985 in Mexico he married Alicia Valdez who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are two sons, Cesar (Jenna) Calderon of Michigan City, Indiana and Eduardo (Karina) Calderon of Oceanside, CA; grandson, Maisen Cesar Calderon of Michigan City, IN; 5 sisters; and 7 brothers.

He had worked at Blue Chip Casino and was a member of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be remembered for being handy, friendly and outgoing. Ramon enjoyed cooking, flowers, roses and music.
