It seems like only yesterday that I babysat for all of you kids. Your mom would come up from the beauty shop & make sure all was well. Your dad would come home for lunch & also make sure all was well. You were all a delight to care for & so well behaved. Now your mom has set up shop in heaven & she's making sure all is well with your dad & Cheryl. They were loving parents. May all your precious memories stay forever close in your hearts & bring you strength & peace. My deepest sympathy!

Our condolences to the family. Phyllis was a wonderful help to our family when our mother was ill many years ago. She took time from her day to assist our mother daily when family wasn't able to be there. Thank You Again Phyllis, may you rest in peace.

Aunt Phyllis will be missed by us ALL, but she will always be very special to me. She and Uncle Duane took me in after Dad (Perry) had his accident. I had been living with Uncle Babe and Aunt Nancy, but wanted to be able to see mom (Addie Lou) - who was also living there at the time, as she wouldn't leave his side. This would be the way Aunt Phyllis would be later in life caring for Uncle Duane and the rest of her immediate family. It wasn't easy taking care of a first grader that wasn't sure WHAT was happening to her life as it was turned upside down. But many happy hours were spent in that beauty shop, chatting with her and the ladies. I was bored - I had my school work that got delivered each week, but it was thought that MAYBE I'd be better off in school. So, I got a ONE DAY Catholic education... Do you know what it takes for a NUN to ask you to NOT BRING HER BACK?! Sooooo, yeah ... she has certainly been a rock to all she has come in contact with, and I thank her so very much.

Praying for your whole family- Always appreciated her sense of humor and love for her family. She took me under her wing when my parents were gone and always included me like I was one of her own. Glad she is no longer in pain and enjoying heaven.
