Lester was a great classmate of Elston class of 1951.. It has been awhile since I last saw Lester but he was a great guy--someone I will never forge. May he rest in Peace!

Lester was the "mainstay" and "anchor" of St. Paul Lutheran (Otis). He had a special inner light which God gave him. He touched so many lives and will be forever remembered, with love, for the special part he played in our lives ; for his kindness, smile, and encouragement which will forever be treasured in our hearts. Lester always said to us with a big smile "St. Paul's is the best secret in Otis." Thanks Lester! Your family and friends of St. Paul Lutheran Church (Otis).

I knew Les through Thrivent activities mostly. What a friend and man who cared about those less fortunate. He indeed touched many lives for the better. His love of the Lord showed in the way he lived. We can be assured he is in the arms of His Savior. My condolences to his family. In Christian love, Lynette Johnston
