Henrietta L. Yorkey, 82, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 at 8:20 pm in Vibra Hospital, Crown Point, IN.
Private family services will be conducted. Private burial will take place in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm -8:00 pm, Friday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.
She was born January 29, 1933 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Henry and Clara (Dominowski) Staniszewski. On July 3, 1954 in Michigan City, IN she married Russell Yorkey who preceded her on October 21, 1998.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda (Rob) Eden of Henderson, NV and Pamela (David) Westphal of Michigan City, IN; grandchild, Erin Eden of Henderson, NV; and her step-sister, Joann (Joe) Tanski of LaPorte, Indiana.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Louise Osos; brother, Robert Staniszewski.
Henrietta enjoyed bowling, embroidering, gardening, arts & crafts, and spending time with her family.
