Bev, I am so sorry we missed Ernie's passing. Mary Louise just called me to let me know. She was out west with her daughters and just called me. We will give you time and then we want to have lunch with you. We miss you! We will always cherish the good times with you and Ernie. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We all love you.

Dear Bev and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of baby sitting Debbie and Mike when they were little. Grateful to know such a kind and wonderful family.. Wishing you and your family love and a plethora of blessings during this difficult time. Hopefully, I can visit with you when I am in Michigan City visiting my brother and mother-in-law. May God wrap His arms around you and give you peace. Love, Linda (Sobecki) Lee

Bev, So sorry to hear of Heb's passing. We remember him well. So appreciated his call when we didn't make it to the Pioneer Christmas party one year. He was one fine friendly man. You have our heartfelt sympathy.
Love and prayers to you and your family,
Russ and Peg Taylor

I was a frameman & switchman in the late 50's and early 60"s at Michigan City. I remember Ernie as a larger than life man. He was tolerant of me. I'm sorry, I cannot remember now if he was inside or outside plant, but I remember him well as a large person. I will pray for Ernie's family that God will heal their concerns.
