I am very sorry for your loss; Condolences to you and your family. I look forward to the time when "death is swallowed up forever." (1 Corinthians 15:54) When one of my family members passed away, I looked to my family for comfort, but most importantly, I received comfort from God's Word the Bible. Jesus likened death to sleeping. This is encouraging because people can be awakened from sleep. The Bible gives us hope of a resurrection. In Revelation 21:4, God promises, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." I look forward to that time and it helps me get by. I hope it is encouraging to you too. If you are interested in more encouragement from the scriptures, I invite you to go to www.JW.org.

I have many fond memories of Don during high school. Sitting between Ron and Don in Biology was quite a fun class, and of course cheering for Don for four years in basketball was a highlight. I will always remember Don for his smile, laugh, and giving it all on the court. My prayers are with his family.

I am sorry for your loss. I knew him from when he and his family lived on cooper street when he was young. I lived down the street from them and hung out with dennis and a few other kids from that neighborhood. He was a character back then.

Barb, Rick, Dennis, Ronnie and the Walters Family
What a shock! Donnie will always be a part of my memories. How could I ever forget the 2 little twins, that dropped the lead pipe on my head the first time I ever spent the night at The Walters home. But yet I came back for more! I grew up with Donnie and Ronnie and thought of them as family as I do all of you. Donnie will be missed, always loved seeing him at work when I would go to the stations to get cigarettes or gas, talking about old times and our kids and grandchildren... My love to all of you. Jude

You were with me from the day I was born. You were my uncle, but more like a brother. You watched over me my whole life. You taught me to play ball like a boy.... Tough enough to be the first girl and 5th grader in Jefferson school history to win the Jefferson Jet award like you and Ronny were the first two to win it just four years earlier. You made me tough as like any older brother would do so I could defend myself in the world. We rocked together with Ronny and sang Harmony's all day long to WWJD when we were little. You made me coffee from hot tap water out of the sink with the cup 1/2 full of sugar and cremora and a 1/2 TSP of Nescafe. You taught me to hide under the bed so Faith City's church bus driver couldn't find us to make us go! You gave me my first job at Burger King ( I won't hold that against you) . When I got really sick, you took me to the doctor after a bad divorce, you consoled me too. We had so many conversations about life.. You were always there when I needed you, you were never in a hurry. After my dad passed away, I had no one to walk me down the aisle...So you filled those shoes of my father. Your laugh, I will never forget...It shook my soul with pleasure because you LOVED to make people laugh. You gave the best advice to me throughout my young life. How did I let time go? Why didn't I come visit you more as I got older? So now you teach me even through death how precious life and love is and how fast a life can be over so cherish every single moment you can with your loved ones. I love you uncle Donny, always have, always will. Your niece, Patty.
