My deepest sympathy to Dave's entire family. I am sorry to say that I never got to know him - but he sounds like a young man to be very proud. He will be with the Angels now and watch over you from above. I love you all.

My condolence to the family. I met David as a chaperone on a Spanish field trip, and we went bowling first. David ended up being on my team. I knew he was my biggest competition when he showed up with his own bag, ball, shoes, and all the other accessories. Needless to say, he beat me! He made such a great impact on me that day, and was forever my "Spanish bowling buddy!" And forever my superhero! Fly high Buddy! You will be missed by me and my family,
Melody, Mac, Madison Schrader and Patrick Younggreen

I was honored to be one of David 's nurses at the hospice house. We were blessed to take care of this wonderful young man. He had a beautiful heart. He was so thankful for even the littlest things we did for him, and, when friends and family came to visit him, he had a knack for making them feel comfortable and at ease. David's strength and courage were shown in every word and gesture. I was humbled by him. Just by being himself and by his example, he has made me a better person and a better nurse. I miss him every day.

Ro, Dennis and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you in hearing of David's passing. I met him only once several years ago, but Laura had such fine things to say about him that I know she welcomes him with great love and generosity.
Peace to your hearts.
Warmly,
Sarah Tannehill
