Daddy there's no words to express how empty my heart and life is without you here in it. The way you use to sing to me, and talk a long time on the phone about God. Your love for your children and grandchildren that you shared is surely missed. Things have not been the same since you went to rest. Thank you for the love you had for each and every one of in your own special way. Thank you for being my daddy, and a great man of God allowing God to use you in so many ways to touch many peoples lives. Besides God you were all that I had left in this world who truly loved me besides my sister and kids. Mom been left 31 yrs before you did, and now you're gone. No grandparents, and now no daddy left for me here on earth. One of the many scriptures you quoted to me that I hold on to is to "Trust In The Lord With All Of Your Heart and Lean Not To Thy Own Understanding And In All Our Ways Acknowledge Him And He Will Direct My Heart." I'm doing my best to hold on to that precious word you shared from God's word. I had to learn to trust in God's will to take you away as I allowed Him to heal it. I love you daddy forever and always, and miss you so so much. Thank you for everything even the things you said to God and prayers you prayed on me and my sister and brothers lives, as well as the grandkids.

There's no words to describe the pain I'm feeling within. The emptiness, not being able to hear that beautiful voice sing to me/us ever again. I due visualize you being right here, seeing your face the excitement the joy as you praised God hitting those high notes that you did so eloquently! I love you daddy and even though it hurts everytime I think of you and not being able to see you and your smiling face, my God is so good. He keeps me and keeps me so I don't get too consumed.
Continue to rest in peace until that glorious day. The coming of our Lord where you can rise and we all become caught up entering into heavens pearly gates. I love and miss you can never express how I feel without you in my life, needing you! It's our turn now to get our lives together and keep it and be as faithful to God as you were
Thank you for your loving me, and our time together sharing in God's word and you teaching me to be strong in the Lord!? Your eldest daughter Angie.

Extremely sorry to hear that Deacon (Brother) David has left us to be with the Lord. He's singing around the throne of God. David was a kind man I'm proud in the Lord that I had a chance to meet and call him friend. Rest in Heavenly peace David......... We All Miss you

It was an honor and privilege to care for your loved one in his final days here on earth. I was truly heartbroken to learn of his passing when I returned to work. My sincere condolence to the family of David Tubbs, David was a man that loved the Lord, loved doing the Lords work, Loved singing. A wonderful program director for the tristate area and he will be strongly missed. David now has the opportunity to sing around the throne of God and the feet of Jesus, who sits on the right hand side of God.

David was a man that loved the Lord, Loved singing for the Lord, Loved doing the Lords work, a great individual in the music field in Michigan City and the surrounding states as a program director, and a friend. David will be highly missed. He can now sing around Gods throne and at the feet of Jesus who sits on the right hand side of God....
