Bill and Tina, Our condolences to you both. I have such fond memories of Gitta: Our trips to Lincoln Avenue shopping in Chicago, the tea parties she hosted for the neighborhood ladies, her volunteering to bring patients to St. Anthony's for cancer treatment, and her fashion sense. She always wore a skirt, even to do yard work or climb the outside of the fireplace to cut back vines. Remember the good times!

Dear Christine,
Your mom was so very beautiful 👩🏻 I see where you and Mike got your good looks. I'm sorry I never got to meet your other brother. Someday soon I will meet your dad.
I will help you with whatever it is you need me to after a respectful amount of mourning has passed.
Carla will help too of course.
You did a good job Christine.......rest and clear your head - let the grieving process take you wherever it leads you. Hopefully it will take you back to a time when all was good and the many years of sickness will fade away. 😔

She and my mother would have their coffee klutch together. She was one of the first friends my mom had when she got to this country. She would in December bring mom stollen she would buy.
Very nice lady. So elegant.
So sorry for your loss.

A mother's passing is never easy. Your mom is now at peace and a angel watching over you. Tina, may you and your family know that your mother was admired by many. I remember her telling me that she loved to babysit Tyler, that she enjoyed him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Your mother was an absolute lady and an angel. She and my mother (the deceased Dorothy Tiebert) were good friends and neighbors. Your mom regularly took my mom to Saturday evening church services at St. Paul Lutheran Church, and she was also a part of my mom's church circle. It would be difficult to find a sweeter and kinder lady.

Aunt Gitte was my favorite. She was a classy lady with a sweet disposition. She was smart and caring and could "roll with a punch" when called for. I remember her telling me years ago that she had once had a dream to go to medical school. Had she had the opportunity to do that, I think she would have been exceptional. She will certainly be missed by all of us her knew her.
