Robert G. Ream, Jr., 69, Michigan City, IN, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 9:29 am in VNA Hospice Center, Valparaiso, IN.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.    

He was born September 22, 1953 in Michigan City, IN.

Surviving are son, his Robert G. (Jennifer) Ream, III of Austin, TX; two daughters, Stephanie (Charlie Abraham) Ream of Michigan City, IN and Madison (Scott Strickland) Ream of Covington, GA; two grandchildren, Scott Glick and Lillian Abraham; his mother, Alice Ream Timm of Hebron, IN; three brothers, Rick (Molly) Ream of Marietta, GA, Mark Ream of Michigan City, IN and Phil Ream of Michigan City, IN; three sisters, Mary (Bill) Rusboldt of Commerce City, CO, Jackie (Tom) Covault of Hebron, IN and Patty (Randy) Leonard of Hebron, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert G. Ream, Sr.; and partner, Vickie Cummings;   

Robert retired after 30 years as a receiving clerk at Sullair Corp. and was a member of The F.O.P Dunes Lodge 75.

As a self taught guitarist Bob could be found in jam sessions with friends and family or enjoying his craft on his own. He had a love for good food, especially from the family roots of Lebanese cuisine. He enjoyed good drinks, good stories and a good laugh. He held his family and friends close to his heart and he was always there if you needed him. He will be missed by us all.
