Kristine "Krissy" J. Rempala, 55, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 at 6:17 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City, Michigan City, Indiana.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana is handling arrangements.

She was born May 5, 1965 in Michigan City, IN to the late William "Bill" and Lonna (Hoster) Grantham. On April 1, 2011 in La Porte, Indiana she married Robert "Mike" Rempala who survives in Michigan City, Indiana.

Also surviving are brother, Scott Grantham of Michigan City, IN; niece, Amber Grantham. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Guy Grantham, Garry Grantham; nephew, Tyler Grantham.

Krissy worked most of her life in retail at various jobs. She enjoyed being outside in nature and feeding all the neighborhood cats.
