Jennifer Lynn Ring

Jennifer Lynn Ring, 68, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 4:00 a.m. at Franciscan Health, Michigan City, surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana with Pastor Dennis Pickens officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, at a later date.

She was born March 7, 1954 in Michigan City, IN to the late John E. Seppyes Jr. and Juanita (Westphal) Seppyes.

On August 26, 1995 in White County, Monticello, Indiana she married Richard M. Ring, who survives.

Also surviving are her daughter, Angie (John) Nelson of La Porte, IN; son, Robert Ervin (Christine) Oman III of Michigan City, IN; sister, Jean Kinney of FL; brother, John Seppyes, III of Michigan City, IN; grandchild, Alexis Oman; great-grandchild, Marcus Xavier Oman; and loved by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, John E. Seppyes Jr.; mother, Juanita Musgrave; sisters, Joyce Jackson and Janet Glanders; grandson, Robert Michael Oman IV; granddaughter,Alisa Oman; special niece, Dawn Heuer; and infant brother, Anthony Pace.

Jennifer attended Michigan City Free Methodist Church for 30 years. She was very passionate for family, always taking great care of them. Jennifer enjoyed helping family members with rides and formerly dedicated her care to her sister, Janet, prior to her passing. Her grandchildren were the highest on the ladder than the rest, Jennifer especially cherished them. She was known to complete any crossword puzzles, either it was in the newspaper or even on a box of cereal. Jennifer will be truly missed by her entire family.
