Hal E. "Hippie Hal"  Martin, 67, Trail Creek, Indiana, passed away peacefully Friday, May 19, 2023 at 9:21 pm in his home.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 7, 2023 in Section O of Greenwood Cemetery, 153 Tilden Ave, Michigan City, IN. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born October 31, 1955 in Michigan City, IN to the late Harold and Arbutus (Beck) Martin. On January 21, 1978 in Michigan City, IN he married Antoinette "Toni" Lindou who survives in Trail Creek, IN.

Also surviving are a daughter, Krista (Tim Pendergast) Martin of Trail Creek, IN; son, Jason (Jamie) Martin of Valparaiso, IN; granddaughter, Olivia Martin of Westfield, IN; and his sister, Kaye Martin of Michigan City, IN. Also surviving are a niece and nephew, an aunt, and several uncles and cousins. 

Hal was a painter at Kustom Auto Body, Hobart, IN. He enjoyed Corvettes, playing in a band, attending concerts, collecting Hot Wheels, working in the yard, and having fun.
