Frances Meeks, 73, Lake Station, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 1:45 pm in St. Mary's Medical Center, Hobart, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm, Monday, July 6, 2020 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Monday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

She was born May 31, 1947 in Chicago, IL to the late Milton and Betty (Ball) Nafus. On November 6, 1976 in Hobart, IN she married Danny Meeks who survives in Lake Station, IN.

Also surviving are two sons, Dan (Monica) Dwyer of Papillion, NE and Joseph (Tracy) Dwyer of Lake Station, IN; four grandchildren, Amber, Joanna, Grace and Kacey; great-grandchild, Brooklyn; and two sisters, Terry Clark of Elkhart, IN and Dorothy (Randy) Hoch of Holmen, WI.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Nafus.

Frances had worked as a manager at different area restaurants. She enjoyed camping and bowling.
