July 12, 1946 - March 11, 2019

Randall C. Eckley, 72, Long Beach, Indiana, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at 10:13 pm in Franciscan Health-St. Anthony, Michigan City, Indiana.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, March 18, 2019 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1010 Moore Road, Long Beach, Indiana with Rev. Keith McClellan officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation hours will be Sunday from 2:00 pm -5:00 pm in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel and Monday from 9:00 am till 10:00 am at Notre Dame Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana.  On Sunday at 4:30pm the Sons of the American Revolution will conduct a Ritual service in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

He was born July 12, 1946 in Valparaiso, Indiana to the late Harlan and Donna (Janick) Eckley. On August 28, 1971 in Valparaiso, Indiana married Cheryl Johnson who survives Long Beach, Indiana along with two brothers-in-law, sister-in-law and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Randy received his Master's Degree in Library Science and retired after 38 years from the Duneland Schools, Chesterton, Indiana. He was a member and past President of the Sons of the American Revolution, member of the Sons of Union Veterans former Treasurer of the Long Beach Civic Association and was co-founder of Turtle Week, Liberty Middle School.
