Jose Miguel Cadiz, 90, Portage, Indiana, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at 10:15 pm in his home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Emmanuel Baptist Church of South Haven, 760 McCool Rd., Valparaiso, IN with Pastor John Allen officiating. Burial will take place in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown, PA. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Wednesday at the church. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born May 8, 1928 in Maunabo, Puerto Rico. On November 19, 1955 in Bethlehem, PA he married Gloria Camacho who survives in Portage, IN.

Also surviving are two daughters, Minerva (Jose) Diaz of Portage, IN and Judith (Alberto) Santana of Bethlehem, PA; two sons, Miguel (Carol) Cadiz, Sr. of Bethlehem, PA and Orlando (Nelly) Cadiz of Franklin, TN; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Jose retired after 30 years from Just Born Candy, Bethlehem, PA. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of South Haven, was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed spending time with his family.
