Doris K. "Kathy" Spangle, 63, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at 7:46 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.

Private family services will be conducted. A celebration of life gathering will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.

She was born August 11, 1955 in South Bend, IN to the late Austin and Ida (Johnson) Redding. On January 14, 1989 in Valparaiso, IN she married Roger Lee Spangle who preceded her on November 11, 2002.

Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth (Joseph) Spangle-Fox of Michigan City, IN; two grandchildren, Arcadian Hernandez and Ryker Fox; and her brother, Michael Redding of Logansport, IN.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie, Bobbie and Lee Redding.

Doris was a member of Faith Mission Church, Valparaiso, IN. She enjoyed playing cards, watching movies and spending time with her family.
