Wilma June Keene
August 23, 1929 - July 29, 2023 

Wilma June Keene, 93, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 6:12 pm in Rittenhouse Senior Living of Michigan City.

Private services will be conducted. Burial will take place in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, Friday, August 4, 2023 at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.    

She was born August 23, 1929 in Michigan City, IN to the late Wilhelm and Minnie (McKee) Schumacher. On November 21, 1950 in Michigan City, IN she married Richard Keene who preceded her on October 6, 2005.

Surviving are her son, Darren (Kerri Comstock) Keene of Lake Forest, CA; special nephew, Jack Rosenkranz of Chicago, IL; and other nieces and nephews. She had a sister, Betty Jean Rosenkranz and brother, William Schumacher.   

Wilma had worked as an office administrator. She was an avid reader, a dedicated care-giver, and enjoyed dancing.
