William F. Herren, Sr., 61, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 2:56 pm in his home.

Private services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.    

He was born May 12, 1960 in Valparaiso, IN to the late August and Shirley Herren. In La Porte, IN he married Vicki Wolfe who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are three sons, William Herren, Jr. of Michigan City, IN, Richard Herren of Arkansas and James Herren of Michigan City, IN; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sister, Maria Martin of Ohio.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Richard Herren.   

William had worked as a mechanic at Mid-State & Whiteford. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
