William J. Dynowski
February 13, 1936 - February 24, 2024
William J. Dynowski, 88, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 12:58 pm in Northwest Health-La Porte, La Porte, IN.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Friday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN. Private services and burial will take place in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
He was born February 13, 1936 in Chicago IL, to the late Felix and Pearl (Kosakowski) Dynowski. On May 18, 1957 in Michigan City, IN he married Beverly Volstorf who preceded him on February 25, 2021.
Surviving are his daughter, Theresa (Rick Richmond) Pagos of Michigan City, IN; two grandchildren, Lindsey (Justin) Browning of Michigan City, IN and Michael Pagos of Indianapolis, IN; and a great-grandchild, Beau Browning.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Francis Dynowski; sister, Phyllis Januszewski; and nephew, Jerry Januszewski.
Bill had worked for 10 years at Republic Steel and then went to work at Bethlehem Steel where he retired after 33 years. He was a member of the Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity, life member of the St. Joseph Young Men's Society and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Bill enjoyed golfing, traveling and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
