Vondell "Voni" Lenea (Clark) Diviney
July 11, 1965 - January 25, 2024
Ms. Vondell "Voni" Lenea (Clark) Diviney, age 58, of Fulton, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 11,1965 to the late Donald Clark and Linda Mae (Scott) Clark.
Vondell was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Fulton, Kentucky and was a former member of the Family Christian Center in Schererville, Indiana. She came here from Hammond, Indiana five years ago and was a homemaker and a surrogate mother to many.
Vondell is survived by daughter, Kristi (Brandi) Alley of Union City, Tennessee; ten grandchildren, Alicia Diviney, Kylee Yarber, Isabelle Yarber, Isaiah Yarber, Elijah Yarber, Gabrielle Yarber, and Elizabeth Diviney all of Michigan City, Indiana, Lincoln Crawford of Chicago, Illinois, Katana Bonds and Malakii Bernard both of Union City, Tennessee; two great grandchildren, Ayden Vigil and Amari Yarber-Porter both of Michigan City, Indiana; one brother, Joseph Clark of Michigan City, Indiana; and a significant other, Bill Colbroth of Fulton, Kentucky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie Diviney, a sister, Donna Ingram and her grandparents, Julia and Elwood Clark of Dyersburg, Tennessee.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 5, 2024 at The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral chapel.
