Tina M. Pliske, 65, Scottsdale, AZ, formerly of Michiana Shores, IN, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 in Hospice of the Valley, Dobson Home, Chandler, AZ.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Rev. Kevin Huber officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Friday and from 9:00 am - 10:00 am Saturday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel. A wake service will be conducted at 5:00 pm Friday in the funeral chapel.

She was born August 22, 1953 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Erwin and Bernice (Teevans) Burke. On November 24, 1971 in Michigan City, IN she married Richard Pliske who survives in Michiana Shores, IN.

Also surviving are two daughters, Amy Clover Mary (Rod Bensz) Pliske of Michigan City, IN and Megan Marie (J.T.) Thomas of Chandler, AZ; eight grandchildren, Mason Pliske, Jaiden Pliske, Aaliyah Pliske, Olivia Shinn, Madelyn Shinn, Dylan Shinn, Brooke Thomas and Brody Thomas; brother, Michael (Debbie) Burke of Anderson, SC; and her sister, Tera Mitchell of Indiana.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Christopher Pliske.

She was a cosmetologist at Thor's and Shear Illusions, both in Michigan City, IN. She loved the beach and collecting beach glass. Tina was an avid reader and a wonderful baker, especially of Christmas cookies. She adored her children and grandchildren and was a very private person but truly appreciated her close friends.
