Timothy Michael Welch

Timothy Michael Welch, born in South Bend, IN, on 11/27/1982, passed away on 06/09/2026.

The beloved son of Julie Welch and biological father Kale Westerhoff, Tim was also lovingly raised by two wonderful stepfathers, the late Michael Banasiewicz and Stephen Janiszewski. Tim was a devoted father to Briar Rose and Addison Welch, godfather to Logan Zigler, and a loving brother to Jaime Lee (Joe), Carrie (John) Rochefort, Jessica (Aaron) Dome, and Selena Janiszewski (Mike). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Raised in Mishawaka, IN, for most of his life, Tim was known for his generous heart and would give anyone the shirt off his back. He was a skilled mechanic who loved working on vehicles, fishing, taking nature walks, and fixing just about anything.

Tim was blessed with many friends, including lifelong friends Tia and Lauren. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is now reunited with his grandparents, great-grandparents, and the many beloved family members and friends who passed before him.

Timothy will be forever loved and never forgotten.
