Timothy Childress, 56, Michigan City, Indiana, formerly of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 12:15 am in his home

Burial services will take place in Garfield Park Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Michigan and will be announced at a later date.   Arrangements are being handled by the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.    

He was born February 8, 1965 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Earl and Verla (Johnson) Childress.   Surviving are three sons, Joshua (Ashley) Childress of Wyoming, Michigan, Justin (Kelsey) Childress of Byron Center, Michigan, Timothy (Alayna) Childress of Grand Rapids, Michigan; three daughters, Natasha Muller of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Shelby(Adam) Barnes of Dorr, Michigan, Paige (Chris) Reinhart of Grand Rapids, Michigan; 17 Grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy (Darrell) Montague of Hesperia, Michigan, Teresa (Ronald) Hall of Wagland, Michigan; brother, Curtis (Rose Cisar) Childress of Michigan City, Indiana;   

Tim worked as a mechanical electrical technician for an auto parts store.
