Thomas Joseph Pyplatz Jr., 53, South Bend, Indiana, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 3:55 pm at his home. 

Private family services will be conducted at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.    

He was born December 14, 1971 in Hammond, IN to the late Thomas Pyplatz and Linda Zarnik. 

Surviving are four daughters, Nicolette Pyplatz, Skylar Pyplatz, Juliann Pyplatz, Brooke Pyplatz; step-daughter, Courtney Roberts; mother of his children, Veronica Moore; brother, Anthony Zarnik; two sisters, Dawn Jenrette, Karen Leech. He was preceded in death by father, Thomas Pyplatz, Sr.    

Thomas worked as a chef at Generations Adventureplex in Mishawaka, IN. He spent most of his life working as an auto mechanic. Thomas liked music, especially listening to the Beatles and playing his guitar. He enjoyed drawing and was a big fan of the Chicago Cubs. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.
