Theresa A. Creager, 68, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, July 10, 2020 at 6:23 pm in Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 4:00 pm at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana with Pastor William Fine officiating. Private family burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Visitation hours will be Wednesday from 2:00 pm -4:00 pm at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

She was born November 3, 1951 in Blue Island, Illinois to the late Harold and Gladys (Kieffer) Swanson. On July 24, 1971 in Michigan City, Indiana she married Phillip Creager who survives along with a daughter, Melissa Swedersky of Michigan City, Indiana and son, Barry (Lisa) Creager of La Porte, Indiana; three Grandchildren, Amanda Sparks, Kelsey Creager and Kyle Creager; sister, Patricia (Thomas) Seymour of Mentor, Ohio; brother, Larry (Pamela) Swanson Sr. of Michigan City, Indiana; She was preceded in death by grandchild, Brandon Sparks;

Theresa retired as an administrative assistant/secretary from Criterion Catalyst, Michigan City, Indiana. She was a member of the Senior Center of Michigan City enjoying the ceramic sessions along with sewing, crafting and gardening.
