Susan K. Rempala, 75, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at 9:15 am in Franciscan Health - Michigan City, Michigan City.

Services will be announced at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

She was born April 20, 1945 in Michigan City, IN to the late Max and Junette (Fyhr) Fisch. She married Dennis Sadowski who preceded her. Then on October 11, 1986 in Michigan City, IN she married Stephen Rempala who preceded December 5, 2010.

Surviving are daughter, Kimberly (Cary) Heinz of Trail Creek, IN; son, Brian (Michelle) Sadowski of Michigan City, IN; two Grandchildren, Tiffany Cerrillos and Amber Cerrillos; great-grandchild, Harlow; sister, Karen (Bob) Lockeby of Jacksonville, IL; and her brother, Robert Fisch.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Deborah Miller.

Susan worked and retired as an office manager at Work Force Development. She enjoyed shopping, home projects, going to the casino and spending time with her family. Susan always put other people first above her needs. Her favorite saying was "Will Way" which means it can always be done. She was a strong lady who dealt with chronic pain for many years but always said "Will Way". May she rest peacefully (no more pain). She will be dearly missed by those who loved and knew her, including Pepe, her beloved dog.
