Steven J. Millick, Jr., 84, Michiana Shores, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 10:28 a.m. in Hospice Franciscan St. Anthony Health - Michigan City, IN.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2016 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1010 Moore Road, Long Beach, IN with Rev. Keith McClellan officiating. Private family burial will be held in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 21, 2016 and from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St. Michigan City, IN.

He was born August 6, 1931 in Gary, Indiana to the late Steven and Sophie (Chentnick) Millick, Sr. On May 15, 1954 in Gary, IN he married Dorothy "Dolly" (Patrick) Millick who survives in Michiana Shores, IN.

Also surviving are daughter, Lisa (Todd) Hawkins of Las Vegas, NV and several god-children. He was preceded in death by both his parents and son, Douglas Millick.

He was a Industrial Engineer at American Steel. He served in the United States Navy and United States Navy Reserves. He was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, Michigan City Exchange Club, Moose Family Center 980, Elk's Lodge 432, American Legion Skwiat Post 451 and the Michigan City and LaPorte Republican Club. He was a past clerk/treasurer of Michiana Shores and many other services for the town of Michiana.
