Shirley Ann  Braddy, 88, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at 8:13 am in Franciscan Health - Michigan City, Michigan City, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, September 17, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery Chapel, Michigan City, Indiana with  Pastor Mark Reshan officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm, Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.  The family is requesting masks be worn during the visitation hours.  

She was born November 24, 1932 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Merrill and Loraine (Booth) Witner. On September 10, 1949 in Michigan City, Indiana she married Ralph Braddy, Jr. who preceded her in death on March 29, 2008. Surviving are daughter, Kay (Bill) Davidson of Mishawaka, Indiana; three sons, David Braddy of Fort Myers, Florida, Scott Braddy and Alan Braddy both of Michigan City, Indiana; three grandchildren, David (Lani) Kieft, Ryan (Kim) Kieft and  Steven Braddy; three great-grandchildren, Kaylin Kieft, Dawson Kieft and  Avery Kieft; best friend, Nancy Trout of Michigan City, Indiana along with her canine friend, Koko; She was preceded in death by brother, Richard Witner; 

Shirley retired after 30 years with J.C. Penney & Co., Michigan City, Indiana as a sales clerk.  She was active at the Michigan City Senior Center, enjoyed going to Blue Chip Casino, working on puzzles and playing dominoes, card games, bingo with her girlfriends.
