Sharon M. Bell, 81, Michigan City, IN, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 5:15 am in Trail Creek Place , Michigan City, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with  Chaplain Lauren Mache officiating. Private burial will take place in Kingsbury Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm Tuesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.    

She was born April 25, 1942 in Michigan City, IN to the late Leroy and Dorothea (McNew) Edinger. In 1982 she married  Dale Bell who preceded in 2005.

Surviving are four daughters, Brenda Lingenfelter, Patricia Bell and Beth (Bobby) Kolasa, all of Michigan City, Indiana, and Maggie Mullins of Virginia; two sons, Danny Bracewell, Jr. of Michigan City, Indiana and Mike (Maurisa) Bell of Texas; eight grandchildren, Adam Lingenfelter, Courtney (Elias) Bernal of Westville, Indiana, Dennis Reiser, Richard Reiser, Vincent Kolasa, Kristin Dunson, Jacob Bell, and David Bell; six great-grandchildren; and her brother, George (Linda) Edinger of Valrico, Florida.

She was  also preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Edinger, Jr.; and her granddaughter, Amanda Trampski-Manley.  

Sharon had worked as a manager at Hayes Republic and she enjoyed ceramics and caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
