A gathering and reflection of celebration for Scott and his father James Bell Covington, who passed away during COVID-19 December 15, 2020 will Friday, June 17, 2022 from 3:00 PM till 6:00 PM at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.
He was born May 8, 1963 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late James Bell and Elaine A. (Foldenauer) Covington. Surviving are a son, Thomas Covington of La Porte, Indiana; 2 grandchildren; sister, Lisa (Seth Hoersten) DeMeyer of Michigan City, Indiana; 2 brothers, Michael Covington of Lebanon, Indiana and Joseph (Mary Louise) Covington of Laporte, Indiana along with 2 nieces and 1 nephew;
Scott worked for many years at Jewel grocery store and retired from La Porte County as a 911 Dispatcher. Scott back in time enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, camping and his cats. His true enjoyment though was his work and sleeping.
