Ronald Helton, 88, Apache Junction, Arizona, formerly of Michigan City, IN passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 10:36 pm in his home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with  Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Entombment will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, Wednesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.    

He was born August 4, 1933 in Peoria, IL to the late Kenneth and Hazel (Adler) Helton. On February 23, 1952 in Michigan City he married Bettie Borneham who preceded him in death on July 23, 2016.

Surviving are a daughter, Rhonda (Mike Hanabarger) Helton of Apache Junction, AZ; grandson, Derick (Ann) Helton of Michigan City, IN;  and two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Kristin Helton.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Stephen Helton; and brother, Jack Helton.   

Ronald had worked as a warehouse manager at Josam Mfg.. He enjoyed bicycle riding, swimming, listening to bands and going out to eat.
