Robert "Bobby" Howard Eldridge Jr., 60, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 12:55 p.m. in Northwest Health-Porter, Valparaiso, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN. Burial will follow in Posey Chapel Cemetery, in Galena Township, in La Porte, Indiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral chapel.

Bobby was born on May 17, 1963 in Michigan City, Indiana, to Robert Howard and Beverly Joan (Wiseman) Eldridge Sr. His first marriage was with his former wife, Christine Pischke, sharing a daughter with her. Bobby married his second wife, Roxanne (Rhoads) Eldridge, who preceded him in death.

Surviving are his daughter, Allyssa (Krystal) Eldridge of La Porte, Indiana; father, Robert Howard Eldridge Sr. of Michigan City, Indiana; six siblings, Trish (Ed) Bildhauser and Mike Eldridge, both of Michigan City, Indiana, Pam (Rob) Fleming and Tim (Judy) Eldridge, both of La Porte, Indiana, Dennis (Jana) Eldridge of Trail Creek, Indiana, and Scott (Shawna) Eldridge of Michigan City, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Joan Eldridge; and sister-in-law, Raye Eldridge.

Bobby was a Machinist at U.S. Steel for several years. In his earlier times, he played and enjoyed sports, especially softball. Some of his greatest memories were hunting and fishing with family. Bobby was known as an "unselfish cat,"  for his generosity and his kindness to everyone. He worked hard, played hard, and loved hard. Bobby will be truly missed and will always remain in our thoughts forever.
