I don't know where to begin my journey with MY Uncle John. There is so much I would like to share and at the same time I would prefer doing so with Aunt Amelia, Patty and Bobby in person. I am sure Bobby does not remember me, Patty may, a bit. Aunt Amelia, my heart breaks for you. Sadly, we lost touch once my daughter had a son with a severe heart issue. I moved in with them roar a time and life has been so different since then. i love life and thank you to UNCLE JOHN.... MY FAVORITE SAYING IS.. IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY, I OPENED MY EYES TODAY. Every time I write that I think of him. He shared a story with me when I was diagnosed with stage IV Melanoma. He said Carole when you were dx with stage II I told Babe she is lucky if she has 5 years.. i eventually divorced after 27 years of marriage and moved to Long Island. Uncle John and I spoke about my diagnosis and he shared his concern for me with my diagnosis. When we spoke he would say I can't believe you are still here. IT HAS TO BE IN YOUR GENE'S. YOUR BROTHER AND YOU SURVIVED INCREDIBLE ODDS... IT HAS TO BE IN YOUR GENES. I RECALL LAUGHING SAYING IT'S EITHE THE POLISH IN ME OR THE IRISH.. . I so so so so regret getting caught up in my OWN LIFE... UNCLE John will be loved and missed forever. Patty or Bobby i understand Autn Ameilia is in Richmond... I am moving there in a month. I would sooooooooooo soooooooo sooooooo love to see here. I send you and your families big hugs and prayers.. your Dad was one of the most amazing people I have ever met next to my Own Dad, his brother. My Dad was my hero, my love and my life.... i have so many Blessings and admiration for my Dad and your Dad. GOD BLEES YOU UNCLE BOB .. REST IN PEACE.

My Dearest Amelia and Family,

I just returned from Mexico and was saddened to hear of the loss of Dr. Frost.  He was a truly outstanding man, personally and professionally, and a visionary who did much for health care in our community.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Doctor Bob Frost. I am the childhood friend of Patty and lived on Boyd Circle. Patty and I used to walk Princess around the Edgewood neighborhood and we attended school together for many years. I always enjoyed visiting the beautifully modern Frost residence = and it was always a treat if Doc and Babe were around, as they were always so friendly and fun to be around! Doc left an amazing legacy of achievement in the Pathology Arena and in Michigan City health care - but I remember him most as a friendly, happy, good father to one of the best friends of my youth- Patty Frost! God Bless Patty, Bob and Babe and the entire Frost family in your loss. I will pray for you all. May his soul rest in peace-so sorry for your great loss. He was a good man, a great father, and an amazing health care professional. Peace...Colleen Donoghue Hattrup - childhood friend of Patty.......

I was one of the graduates of Dr. Frost's Clinical Laboratory Assistant School in 1968.  Dr Frost greatly influenced my young life and was instrumental in my clinical laboratory career.  I had so much respect for Dr. Frost.  I extend heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.  He will be greatly missed.

Nancy and I were very sorry to read about Bob's passing and were pleased to reflect on his achievements as set forth in the obit. We well remember such happy times with Bob and Babe in the old Notre Dame Club of Michigan City and how much my parents, Roger and Molly Donoghue, enjoyed their company at those dinner meetings, and the great fun we had at the ND football games. I have emailed Patty's girlhood friend, my sister Colleen Donoghue Hattrup in Maryland in case she hasn't heard. Our very best to the whole Frost family.

To me he will always be Uncle John.  I remember him and Aunt Amelia visiting us in Puerto Rico.  I know I have at least one photo of both of them in our yard in Aguirre.
My dad always admired him and we were very grateful when my dad became ill and he came to spend time with him and help him make some decisions.
He was a frontrunner in his field and it is , I am sure, largely due to him that the practice of pathology is what it is today.

I am very sorry for your loss and I mourn with you.

Patty and Family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I know it is hard to see our parents leave this world, but remember that the passing from this world - leads us to the next beautiful world that we all want to be headed to. God Bless, keep the faith and one day we will meet again in Our Heavenly Fathers home.   Prayers Daily for you All.  Old classmate Janice (Konkey) Shepperson
