Robert D. Bremer, 84, La Porte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 3:12 pm in Chesterton Manor, Chesterton, IN.

Private services will be conducted. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, IN.  The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.    

He was born November 25, 1941 in Michigan City, IN to the late Carl and Ruth (Donnell) Bremer. 

Surviving are his son, Robert Bremer of Michigan; daughter, Leah Bremer of Ireland; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his friend, Diane Rudnick of La Porte, IN.

He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Bremer;   

Robert retired as a machine operator at Midwest Steel and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed car rides with his dog Duncan.
