Ricky L. Ringstad Jr., 42, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in Michigan City, Indiana.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Isaak Walton Chapter 7, 682 N. 850 W., Michigan City, Indiana 46360 with Rev. David Solum officiating. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St. Michigan City, Indiana is handling arrangements.

He was born May 13, 1978 in Madison, WI to the late Ricky L. Ringstad and Lynda J. (Johnston) Brooks.

Surviving are two daughters, Julia Ringstad and JoAnna Ringstad both of Michigan City, IN; two sisters, Tina Ringstad of Michigan City, IN and Hiedi Brooks of Michigan City, IN; three nieces, Alexis, BreAnna, and Annabelle; two nephews, Donovan, Shane; special aunt, Jackie Van Daalen of Zeeland, MI; many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Terrell Rauwolf.

Ricky was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He was a very talented guitar player, song writer, and singer. His love for music touched the hearts of many people over the years. Ricky was very artistic and had a heart of gold. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and loved his daughters unconditionally.
