Rexald Dewayne McDougal, 86, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 11:47 am in his home.

Private services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born November 9, 1937 in Union Hill, AR to the late Earl and Rosie (Barnwell) McDougal. On June 24, 1960 in Searcy, AR he married Frances Vivian (Posey) McDougal who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Surviving are two daughters, Lisa (Russ) Parker of Michigan City, IN and Stacy (Jeremy) Kirby of La Porte, IN; three grandchildren, Alicia (Brian) Gonzalez, Cody Parker and Logan (Chris Harvey) McDougal; three
great-grandchildren, Caleb, Layla and, Ava.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Rexald Dewayne McDougal, Jr.; and three sisters and five brothers.

Dewayne retired after 36 years a millwright at Weil-McLain and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed farming, fabricating and gardening.
