Phyllis Ann Wozniak, 92, LaPorte, IN, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10:00 pm in her home.

Private family services will be conducted. Burial will take place in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.    

She was born August 10, 1929 in Michigan City, IN to the late Russell and Edna (Gasell) Batzel. On October 23, 1948 in Michigan City, IN she married James Wozniak who preceded her on January 13, 2003.

Surviving are three daughters, Kathryn Spiess of Hicksville, OH, Patricia (Calvin) Buell of Michigan City, IN and Cheryl (Mark) Summers of Valparaiso, IN; son, Ronald (Jennifer) Wozniak of LaPorte, IN; eight grandchildren, Lori Buell, Traci Novitzke, Jenny Hunter, Amy Williams, Chris Wozniak, Justin Wozniak, C.J. Barratt and Ashley Barratt; eleven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Judi (Dale) Burns of Michigan City, IN.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Larry Wozniak; and son-in-law, Allen Spiess.   

Phyllis loved traveling, camping, gardening and country music.
