Paul A. Granacki, 51, South Bend, Indiana, passed away suddenly, Friday, August 25, 2023 in his home.
Private services and burial will take place in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.
He was born November 9, 1971 in Michigan City, IN to Richard and Diane (Trojan) Granacki.
Surviving are his mother and step-father, Diane and Tim Vaughan; father and step mother Richard and Eve Granacki; sister, Brandy Abshier; brother, Chandler Granacki; three step-sisters, Maggie Vaughan, Kim (Michael) Patton, and Sara Glenn; aunt, Pat Dolezal; uncle, Dick Dolezal; several cousins; and his best friend, Bobby Adams.
Paul attended St. Stanislaus Grade School, Boston Middle School and Elston High School. He was involved in a motorcycle accident three weeks after graduating and then lived for 20 years at Portage Manor in South Bend. Paul enjoyed growing up with his favorite grandparents, Harriet and John Trojan. Growing up as a child, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting with his grandfather, John. He was an accomplished skeet shooter having won several State Junior Handicap Championships, trophies and awards in 1987 at the age of 16. Later in life he also enjoyed playing pool, watching TV game shows, playing games on his Kindle. Paul had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed telling jokes (clean ones) and loved his pets, Patches, Bootsie, Dusty, Kieshka and Stella. Paul was a happy soul who loved God and will be dearly missed.
