Patricia L. Peals, 70, La Porte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 5:10 pm in La Porte Hospital, La Porte, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana with Pastor Michael Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Michigan City, IN. Visitation will be from 10:00 am -11:00 am, Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.

She was born July 6, 1949 in Michigan City, IN to the late Donald Taylor and Ora Belle Daniels. On June 24, 1999 in Michigan City, IN she married Solomon Peals Sr. who survives in La Porte, IN.

Also surviving are three daughters, Ebony (Charles) Thomas of La Porte, IN, Cathy (Terry) Kelly of Michigan City, IN, Sholanda (James) Nelson of Michigan City, IN; son, Soloman Peals, Jr. of Elkhart, IN; nine grandchildren, Demetrius "Boo" Garrett, Da'mon Thomas, Jarvise Franklin, Andrea Franklin, Mark Franklin, LuTrice Franklin, Curtis Franklin, Brandi Peals, Kyra Kelly; three sisters, Elizabeth Tillman, Lynette Sims, Carol Daniels; three brothers, Johnny (Maryann) Langham, Robert (Mary) Daniels, Timothy (Cheryl) Daniels; She was preceded in death by her brother, Bernard Daniels; grandmother, Claudia Hatcher.

Patricia worked for many years at TP Orthodontics and was a member of Greater Harvest Baptist Church in La Porte where she served on the usher board. Patricia loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed watching her grandsons play football.
