Patricia Ann Harris , 78, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 2:49 pm in her home.

Private services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.    

She was born January 12, 1948 in Michigan City, IN to the late Edward and Frieda (Schoof) Granacki. On August 24, 1979 in La Porte, IN she married Larry Harris who preceded her on June 20, 2016.

Surviving are her daughter, Danita (Mertus Corley, Jr.) Clark of Michigan City, IN; three grandchildren, Brittany Clark, Mertus (Esmeralda) Corley, III and Mertees Corley all of Michigan City, IN; five great-grandchildren, Ramyah Clark, Miyale Wise, Redyna Melendez, Reylynn Corley and Reyna Corley; two sisters, Nancy (John) Vega of Michigan City, IN an d Debbie (John) Floyd of La Porte, IN; special-niece, Nancy Grace; and two special-nephews, Kyle Grace and Teddy Granacki.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Penny Wood and Judith Yeakey; four brothers, Theodore Granacki, Timothy Granacki, Thomas Granacki and Edward  Granacki.   

Patricia enjoyed yard work, making people laugh and spending time with her family.
