Norman Max Alderson, 85, LaPorte, Indiana, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 12:17 am in his home.

Private family services will take place. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born March 19, 1933 in Linton, Indiana to the late Edward and Goldie (Norris) Alderson. On July 26, 1952 in Michigan City, IN he married Eunice Smith who survives in LaPorte, IN.

Also surviving are two daughters, Rosemary (Tim) Danielson of Carmel, IN and Ruby (Daniel) Royer of Michigan City, IN; grandchild, Jake Williams of Michigan City, IN; great-grandchild, Jesse Williams of Indiana; and his sister-in-law, Mary Alderson of Linton, IN.

He was also preceded in death by his four brothers, Jack, Tom, Bruce and Bill Alderson.

Norman retired as a welder at Bethlehem Steel and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed gardening.
