Nina Miller, 81, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 2:45 pm at her home.

Private family services will be conducted. Arrangements are being handled by the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.  

She was born March 14, 1940 in Loudon, Tennessee to the late Luther and Rella (Lambert) Best. On December 29, 1995 in Michigan City, Indiana she married Ronald M. Miller who survives Michigan City, Indiana.  Also surviving are two grandchildren, Stephanie Fain of La Porte, Indiana and Victoria Williams of Kaufman, Texas; five great-grandchildren, Megan, Bryice, Carter, Kinsler and Shelby; six brothers, Ralph Best, Louis Best, Lonnie "Bud" Best, Jack Best, Charles Best, David Best; five sisters, Mary Lou Collis, Helen Collis, Betty Sova, Daisie Miller, Rosie Culpepper along with her canine companion, "Buddy"; She was preceded in death by son, Victor;  and three brothers, Willie Best, Jim Best, Eddie Lynn "Jake" Best;  

She worked as a clerk for 13 years at the Michigan City Library and over 8 years at the Community Center for the Arts.
