Nancy J. Tarpley, 84, La Porte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 5:57 pm in Trail Creek Place , Michigan City, IN.

Private family services will be conducted. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

She was born October 4, 1935 in Michigan City, IN to the late Harold and Agna Easterday. On November 29, 1952 in Michigan City, IN she married Buford Tarpley who preceded her on April 20, 2005.

Surviving are daughter, Gail (Dewayne) Leslie of LaPorte, IN; son, Michael Tarpley of Tuscon, AZ; three grandchildren, Tara Leslie of Michigan City, IN, Chrissy Gilbert of Tuscon, AZ and Laura Tarpley of Tuscon, AZ; 15 great-grandchildren; and granddaughter-in-law, Holly Leslie of Michigan City, IN.

She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Eric Leslie and Brandon Leslie; and three sisters, Shirley, Beverly and Audrey.

Nancy had worked as a printer at Pubco Printing and enjoyed dancing and reading.
