Michael S. Mikulski, 66, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday, April 27, 2020 at 3:59 pm in his home.

Private family services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born December 7, 1953 in Michigan City, IN to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Dubulis) Mikulski. On May 12, 1979 in Michigan City, IN he married Kathryn Sosinski who survives in Michigan City.

Also surviving are a daughter, Jennifer (Aaron) DeRover of LaPorte, IN; son, Michael J. (Kathryn) Mikulski of Newburgh, IN; grandson, James DeRover; three sisters, Patricia Bannwart of Michigan City, IN, Bernadette Mikulski of Michigan City, IN and Christine Baugher of FL; and his brother, Robert Mikulski of Sellingen, The Netherlands.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Joseph F. Mikulski, Jr.

Michael was a correctional officer at the South Bend Community Re-Entry Center and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Michael was an avid Notre Dame fan and enjoyed playing trivia.
