Michael T. Galinowski, 47, South Bend, Indiana, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 8:19 pm in Northwest Health-Porter, Valparaiso, IN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am (EDT), Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at St. Bavo Catholic Church, 501 W. 7th St, Mishawaka, IN with Rev. Pete Pacini, CSC officiating. Private burial will take place. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm (CDT) Monday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN and from 10:00 am - 11:00 am (EDT) Tuesday at the church.
He was born February 19, 1978 in Michigan City, IN. On August 9, 2003 in Michigan City, IN he married Brandi Hannah who survives in South Bend, IN.
Also surviving are his son, Tyler Galinowski of South Bend, IN; parents, Steven and JoAn (Teets) Galinowski of Michigan City, IN; sister, Ann Galinowski of Michigan City, IN; aunts & uncles, Karen Galinowski of Seminole, FL, James and Sandra Galinowski of Michigan City, IN, Roberta and Fredrick Birnbaum of Golden, CO and Tom and Deborah Teets of La Porte, IN; special-friends, Melissa and Mike Callahan of La Porte, IN and Angela and Matt Sebert of La Porte, IN; and many more extended family and friends.
He was a systems programmer at Interra Credit Union, Goshen, IN and a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka, IN. Michael enjoyed golfing, cooking, trivia and his trips to Disney. He was an avid Chicago Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks and Notre Dame fan.
